Stubborn goats

Happy six-month mark Nathaniel!
Journal entry:

Full day.  Got lots done.  Marketing meeting this morning, organizing some projects for members of my staff.  Need to prepare Board meeting agenda tomorrow.

Tonight worked more on the chicken coop.  Will be nice when it's done.  Nice to have Mark's experience and willingness on the project.  Finished with ice cream cones for the family and neighbor children behind us.

Funny story: while working on the coop, we needed to get into the goat yard.  The goats immediately ran out to eat the grass outside their pen.  No problem.  Then they realized they could eat the grapes and sprinted to the fence and started eating grape leaves as fast as they could.  We grabbed them and got two back into their pen, but Streusel wouldn't come.  Mark grabbed her collar, so she just sat down like a stubborn toddler.  So, Mark just picked her up like a determined parent and lugged her back to the pen with her bleating in protest the whole way.  Very, very funny.

Read scriptures then helped wash out Abbie's wisdom teeth holes again.  Her teeth seem to be healing slower than Jessie and Mark's, but they're doing okay.  Cleaned the kitchen, ate a bedtime snack, time for sleep.

Thankful: Power tools.  Having the right tools makes a job so much easier.

Ministering: Talked to Bro. Rowley, our stake self-reliance coordinator about the self-reliance program.

More later…

Isaac loved having a turn with the drill.
